The Project

The collaboration between Empower Energy and Shell has once again reached a new pinnacle with the recent installation of a robust 175KW solar system. This project, commissioned within the Shell franchise, serves as a testament to the enduring partnership between these entities, further solidifying their commitment to the implementation of cutting-edge sustainable energy solutions.

Empower Energy's latest endeavor showcases an impressive array of technological sophistication, featuring 416 Jinko solar panels, 2 SolarEdge inverters, and 208 optimisers. This meticulously designed system not only reflects Empower Energy's dedication to pushing the boundaries of technological innovation but also positions Shell to significantly augment its capacity for harnessing solar energy with enhanced efficiency and reliability.

Situated at Osprey Quay, Shell stands to reap substantial economic benefits from this installation, with projected savings amounting to £32,698.08 within the first year alone. Over a span of 20 years, these financial gains are expected to escalate to an impressive £64,077.61. Beyond the immediate monetary advantages, this initiative underscores the economic viability of investing in sustainable energy solutions, demonstrating how such endeavors can contribute to long-term financial sustainability for corporations.

The environmental impact of this initiative is equally noteworthy. With a calculated reduction of 109,043 KG of carbon production each year, Shell's commitment to this solar project extends beyond economic considerations to encompass a meaningful contribution to environmental conservation. This reduction in carbon emissions aligns with global efforts to combat climate change and promotes a sustainable business model that prioritizes both economic and ecological responsibility.
