Alpha unit 9 & 10

Who is Alpha Unit 9 & 10?

We are thrilled to share the exciting details of our latest groundbreaking project at Alpha Centre units 9 and 10. These industrial units are now equipped with state-of-the-art solar power systems, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The Empower team is proud to have played a pivotal role in bringing these projects to fruition, and we extend our sincere appreciation to Spetisbury Construction Limited and Syzygy Consulting for their invaluable collaboration.

What is Alpha Unit 9 & 10's goals

Beyond the financial gains, the environmental impact of these solar installations is noteworthy. Together, Alpha Unit 9 and Alpha Unit 10 are contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions by an impressive 35,627 kilograms each year. This reduction in carbon footprint is a commendable step towards mitigating the effects of climate change and fostering a more sustainable, greener planet.

System performance

Alpha Unit 9 stands out with its impressive 47.5KW solar power system, featuring cutting-edge components such as 100 Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. panels, 50 P1100 optimizers, and 1 SolarEdge Technologies inverter. This robust system is designed to harness solar energy efficiently, contributing not only to the reduction of electricity costs but also making a substantial positive impact on the environment.

Meanwhile, Alpha Unit 10 boasts an efficient 19KW solar power system, comprising 40 JinkoSolar panels, 40 SolarEdge optimizers, and 1 SolarEdge inverter. This system exemplifies a strategic approach to sustainable energy integration, showcasing that even smaller-scale installations can have a meaningful impact on both financial savings and environmental conservation.

When these two solar power systems work in harmony, they will collectively generate an impressive 64,018 kWh of photovoltaic power each year. The significance of this achievement goes beyond mere energy production, as it translates into remarkable annual savings of £14,083.96 on electricity bills for the occupants of these units. This substantial financial benefit underscores the economic viability of solar energy solutions, making a compelling case for businesses to adopt eco-friendly practices.

This achievement reflects not only the dedication of the Empower team to excellence in sustainable energy solutions but also the commitment of Spetisbury Construction Limited and Syzygy Consulting to fostering environmentally responsible projects. As we celebrate the success of these solar installations, we look forward to continued collaboration with like-minded partners in our shared mission to create a more sustainable and resilient future for generations to come.
