The collaborative efforts between Empower Energy and Shell reached a significant milestone on November 7, 2022, when Empower Energy was entrusted with the monumental task of installing a substantial 157KW solar system. This endeavor marked a pivotal moment in the ongoing partnership, highlighting the mutual commitment of both companies to spearheading sustainable energy solutions through cutting-edge technology.

The intricately designed solar system, a testament to the meticulous planning and innovation employed, comprised 374 Jinko solar panels, 2 SolarEdge inverters, and 187 SolarEdge optimisers. This sophisticated configuration not only showcased the technical prowess of Empower Energy but also demonstrated the shared dedication to deploying state-of-the-art technology in pursuit of environmentally conscious energy solutions.

The transformative impact of this solar installation extended to Shell's facility in North Bradley, where the newly implemented system now enables the generation of an impressive 142,135 kWh annually. This substantial capacity and efficiency of the solar infrastructure not only contribute to the immediate economic benefits, translating into an annual savings of £24,929.34, but also underscore the environmental sustainability goals embraced by both Empower Energy and Shell.
