David Haze and his latest adventure The Great Green Paddle challenge

Following on from his incredible, world record breaking, 4 lakes Paddling challenge, Empower energy are truly proud to be the official sponsors of David Haze and his latest adventure The Great Green Paddle challenge, in aid of an incredible cause.

David will be attempting the world’s first carbon neutral, environmentally friendly expedition by stand-up paddle board and we were excited to jump on board (excuse the pun) and support him, being a company born and based on offsetting the impact of climate change through renewable energy.

7 world record holder (just in the last 2 years!), David will complete a 5 day solo stand up paddle board trip around the Isle of Wight, where every bit of equipment he uses will be recycled, recyclable, eco-friendly, carbon neutral and leaves no foot print.

All this is to raise awareness of the differences we can all make as individuals to do our bit to save the environment and to raise money for Surfers against sewage who are dedicated to protecting our oceans, beaches and wildlife.
