Supporting Our Team For A Special Charity

We've chosen to donate every £50 we are credited to the “Acorns to Oaks campaign” a special charity launched by the tree-planting organisation “Gone West”. With the goal to tackle youth unemployment, they’ve teamed up with Princes' trust to get unemployed youths through COVID and at this uncertain time get them into essential work like planting trees.

One Of our engineers at Empower has decided to take part in this charity and we'd like to help support him. The aim is to move 50km to help raise money and awareness for the campaign, however, our engineer David is taking it one step further and paddle boarding 50km from Poole harbour across the open waters of the English Channel and the stretch of Solent to the Isle of Wight where he'll plant a baby Oak tree in Bouldnor forest.

As a solar energy company, this charity is especially moving for us and something incredibly relevant in today's society. We're doing our bit and we would really appreciate your help to raise as much money and awareness as possible for this fantastic charity.
