The Project

In a noteworthy stride towards sustainable practices, the Scout Hut proactively engaged Empower Energy to install a cutting-edge 9.6KW solar power system. This eco-friendly system boasts 24 TrinaSolar panels, 1 SolarEdge inverter, and 24 SolarEdge optimizers, showcasing the organization's commitment to harnessing clean energy sources.

This commendable initiative has borne fruit, as the Poulner Scout Hut now annually generates an impressive 8793 KWh of photovoltaic power, contributing significantly to the pool of environmentally friendly green energy. Notably, the installation has resulted in a substantial reduction of CO2 emissions, with the Scout Hut now emitting 4894 KG less carbon dioxide each year.

In extending our heartfelt congratulations on this remarkable achievement, we express our sincere hope that the benefits derived from this solar power system continue to augment the success of the 1st Poulner Scout Group while making a positive and lasting impact on the well-being of the environment. May this be a shining example inspiring others to embrace sustainable practices for a greener, healthier future.
