Is My Building Suitable For A PPA ?
There are many contributing factors to a systems’ effectiveness, such as location, angle, shading etc. By far the best way to check is to have one of our experienced commercial solar surveyors visit you personally and prepare a no obligation report and quotation. Not only will this highlight your system options, it will also show the estimated generation that you can expect from your system based on accurate details prior to installation, instead of averages and ‘best case’ figures.
Benefits Of A PPA
- A Free Solar PV System - that is fitted by Empower Energy and funded by one of our renewable energy asset investors.
- Guaranteed Saving On Energy Costs - The energy produced by the solar system is purchased back from the investor at a cheaper rate than conventional energy providers.
- No Maintenance Cost - The system will be maintained and serviced by the investment company.
What Is A PPA Agreement?
A PPA agreement is an agreement bound by two parties, the seller and the buyer. The seller is responsible for producing the electricity whilst the buyer’s interest is to purchase the electricity that’s generated. The PPA is funded by an investor who covers the costs of the solar installation for the buyer and benefits from it in exchange by then selling the generated electricity at a fixed rate to the customer(buyer). Part of what makes a PPA agreement so appealing is that the PPA explains all of the condition details of the contract such as the payments, project start dates and finishing of the contract for any reason.
How Your Solar System Can Make A DifferenceSolar is in Its early days of making a nationwide impact, however, over recent years it's continued to grow and renewables are on the up, electrical vehicles, EV chargers are showing just how economical solar is when you add up the benefits of it and the long – term gains vs what you pay for it, its great value for money.
